Preschool, Reception & KS1 Multi-Sports

We want to give children a positive introduction to lots of sports, so they’re more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives.

It is highly unlikely that children in this age range will have participated in some the specialist sports that we offer. A typical six-week sports academy will include giant obstacle courses (see images below) and a selection of the following activities:

Archery
Fencing and Lightsabers
Junior Warrior
Floor Surfboarding
Tri-golf
Mini-Olympics
Futsal
Football
Floor Climbing
Hockey
Tennis
Lacrosse
Giant Football Tennis
Dance Games

This vast range of activities gives children a unique introduction to some sports that they may enjoy participating in for many future years.

Action-Ants sports classes are very educational as we will stimulate imagination and aid early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing in teams.

Using age appropriate safety equipment, children will learn the following skills through our learning approach of play, practice and understanding.

- Personal, social & emotional development,

- Communication, language & literacy,

- Mathematical development,

- Hand-eye co-ordination,

- Physical development,

- Creative development.

We currently deliver preschool and reception PE classes at a large number of schools and preschools in Cumbria.
