The difference between life and death

Research by St John’s Ambulance shows that seven out of 10 pupils (aged 7-16 years) wouldn’t know what to do if someone they knew was hurt, and yet the majority say they would like to learn first aid.

We can offer three specific courses (see below) to ensure your students are equipped with the skills to be the difference in a first aid emergency. But we can also create tailored courses to meet a group’s specific requirements i.e. classes for Scouts to help them earn their Emergency Aid badges

All courses include a fun interactive presentation, lots of practical activities (including bandaging, CPR, and the recovery position), instructor demonstrationsinformation sheets and quizzes. The aim of each class is to increase every child’s ability, confidence and willingness to give first aid. Furthermore, they will learn the importance of giving first aid without risk to themselves.

At the end of each course children will be given a First Aid Award Certificate which will show all of the topics that they have learnt during the course.

Our courses also meet National Curriculum requirements for Science, PSHE/Citizenship and PEdetails provided at the bottom of his page.
